The ideal candidate will have at least 5-10 years current work experience in AutoCAD/GIS in their respective telecommunications industry. The candidate must have prior experience working with engineering drawings, GIS software such as ArcGIS, and drafting experience on fiber and microwave network technology/as-builts/over-builds/FTTH/FTTN/OSP drawings. Candidate should be able to manage simple databases and files that are updates and linked to CAD drawings. Responsibilities:

• In this role the individual will manage day-to-day telecommunications engineering projects for fast paced clients. Effectively coordinate with clients and existing office staff to manage workload and projects.
• Provide efficient project management leadership and oversight to drive the timely completion of Telecommunication Site design services.
• Serve as the main point of contact to the client to report on deliverable completion and manage all financial aspects related to their projects.
• Supervise and manage direct reports and production staff's internal and external workload, ensuring successful completion of tasks within scope, schedule and budget.
• Function as a singular point of contact between ZTS staff, and Customers to establish one cohesive project team with formally developed and communicated applicable project plans.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of project management experience with demonstrated success in delivering results in applying project management methodologies. Experience in Telecommunications or IT related industries is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of Cable infrastructures and VoIP telephone systems strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in RISA-3D (or similar) and Microsoft Office.
• Project Management Institute PMI Certification strongly preferred

We are seeking an experienced telecommunications transmission engineer to serve as a part-time consultant to help inform our clients' business strategies and investment opportunities in the developing world. Responsibilities include providing expert analysis of regional best practices, network and infrastructure standards and industry norms to inform our clients' business strategies and investment opportunities in the developing world. This is a remote position that requires some travel. Desired Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' current work experience in the telecommunication industry, with an engineering degree and strong communication skills. The candidate should have prior experience in cellular based networks to include Base Terminal Station (BTS)/Base Station Controller (BSC), Mobile Switching Center (MSC), virtual cell system, GSM/LTE backhaul networks, as well as network testing, maintenance, and monitoring. Understanding of cell system design, architecture, capacity planning is a plus. The candidate should have knowledge and use of Network Management application and the Operational Support System (OSS) that supports the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of the cellular network.
